The teams that come in the first two places in each category in the preliminary round will join the 12 super teams in the World Twenty20 cricket tournament starting from the 22nd.

The team that wins the first place in group ‘A’ and the team that comes second in group ‘B’ will be in the first group of the 12 super teams round, and the team that wins the first place in group ‘B’ and the team that wins the second place in group ‘A’ will be in the same group.

As of November 15, 2021, only the teams that were in the first 08 positions in the Twenty20 cricket rankings had the opportunity to enter the tournament or the main tournament between the 12 World Cup Super Teams.

Accordingly, among the teams that have already qualified for the Super 12 tournament, Australia, England, New Zealand, and Afghanistan have qualified for the first group, while India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and South Africa have qualified for the second group.
