England Leads Australia – The Ashes 2023

The host England side began the Ashes Test cricket series this year by gaining a bigger lead in the first innings of the opening match, which got underway last Friday.

Yesterday (18th) afternoon, the visiting Australian team was bowled out for 386 runs in the first innings, while England batted first and scored 393 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.

Usman Khawaja for Australia and Joe Root for England both got hundreds.
