Three Sri Lankan Players have been Selected for The SA20 League Cricket Tournament
Three Sri Lankan players have been selected for the SA20 league cricket tournament to be held in South Africa. Accordingly, Kusal Mendis, Maheesh Theekshana, and Dilshan Madushanka have the opportunity to play in this tournament.
In the recently held player auction, Kusal Mendis and Dilshan Madushanka were selected for two teams and Maheesh Theekshana was selected for the Johannesburg Super Kings team even before the auction.
A total of 318 players’ names were submitted for the respective player auction held in Cape Town, South Africa, and 30 players represented Sri Lanka.
In the player auction, Kusal Mendis has been selected for Pretoria Capitals and Dilshan Madushanka has been selected for Durban’s Super Giants Team.
Sri Lanka’s star T20 player Wanindu Hasaranga, batsman Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Captain Dasun Shanaka were not available for the auction as they have opted to play in the UAE T20 league which will be played during the same time period.
