Sri Lanka’s First Training Match of the World Cup is Today
As a preparation for the 2022 Twenty20 World Cup cricket tournament, the first training match in which the Sri Lankan team will participate is scheduled to take place today (11th). It was with the Zimbabwean team at the Melbourne Stadium in Australia.
The relevant training match between the two countries was scheduled to be held yesterday (10th) and due to the delay in the arrival of the Zimbabwean team to Australia, the match was postponed to today.
The training matches for the eight teams playing in the preliminary round of the tournament started yesterday, where the West Indies team along with the United Arab Emirates team, and the Scottland team along with the Netherlands team were scheduled to participate in the training matches yesterday.
The second training match in which Sri Lanka will participate will be held on the 13th with the Ireland team.
